This 10 frame clear board is used to only allow travel in one direction within a hive. This is in order to stop bees from occupying an upper box, so that it then can be removed from the hive without worrying about bees still being inside the box.
It has four metal triangular bee escapes built into it, one in each corner. When using the board, place it in between the hive boxes with these on the UNDERSIDE of the board, otherwise the bees will be trapped in the upper box.
